Or: the power of making the implicit explicit.
Max & Bine founded thunder in early 2020 and were very successful with their unique combination of Branding, Communication & Team Coaching. Yet a feeling of restlessness lead them to approach me late in 2020. They wanted to dig deeper into the question “Who are we as thunder?” We agreed to work for 6 months and established a rhythm of a full day of coaching and a short check-in session every month.
Through our time together, I learned that Max & Bine know and trust each other with an honesty and humbleness that I have rarely seen. Ideal conditions for our Coaching! They also demonstrated over and over, how their skills and personalities complement each other to form a creative supernova (and I am not just speaking of ideas but of actually creating). That is, unless they trapped themselves by limiting beliefs.
In our coaching sessions we unearthed several of such beliefs - individual as well as shared. Having those unconscious, dogmatic beliefs out in the open, meant we could look at them and discuss: Is this true? And if not - what is it that we really want?
“We are a marketing agency. Wait. Do we want to be a marketing agency? No!"
In other words: By making the implicit explicit, we took away the power of those limiting beliefs. The effect was liberating and palpable right away. After just 4 instead of 6 months of our coaching we are done (for now). The prototypes created (e.g. check out erzähl.com) and insights gained are now being processed.

Warum ich sehr gerne mit Dir zusammen arbeite? Jedes Mal wenn wir zusammenarbeiten, habe ich das Gefühl “es geht etwas weiter”. Es macht Spaß, ich kann mich auf Dich verlassen und da ist so viel Vertrauen. Und ich kann jedes Mal so viel lernen. Das Arbeiten mit Dir gibt mir Energie!
Ich bin total beeindruckt davon, wie Du faciltierst. Ich glaube - das ist jetzt natürlich eine Unterstellung - dass Du immer einen Plan hast, aber sehr viel spontan im Moment entscheidest. Ich kenne wenige Leute, die so vehement hinspüren, aufnehmen und im Moment arbeiten. Ich glaube, dass Du das auf eine sehr spirituelle Art und Weise machst - und dabei bleibst du gleichzeitig total “business konform”. Du machst keinen Hokuspokus aus dem was Du tust, obwohl ich weiß, dass da im Hintergrund ganz viel bei Dir passiert. Und das macht es für mich so einzigartig - deswegen schätze ich das Arbeiten mit Dir so!
