We have a first get-to-know call or meeting (German or English are both fine). I prefer to make an appointment.

Depending on the complexity of the topic you're bringing with you, we will have follow-up session(s). Maybe including someone from my network, if we feel the addition makes sense.

 

Then - if we want to continue onwards together - I write an offer or enter the pitching process. If the topic does not match my profile or schedule, I usually try to recommend someone who's a better fit.
